Description

We will start our tour near the Monument of Independence, where the Euromaidan protest has started and then we will pass through all the important spots that played a role in the revolution: St. Michael Golden-Domed Monastery, Kyiv City State Administration, former monument of V. Lenin, Ukranian House and two most important streets, where the fightings took place: Instytutska and Hrushevskogo street.

First, we will focus on the background information about the policy of Victor Yanukovich and the prerequisites of the revolution. After that, we will chronologically go through all the important events and places of the revolution and the decisions, that defined the flow of the protest. Throughout the tour will dive into protesters' everyday life and volunteer initiatives that have arisen during the revolution. In the end, we will discuss what this revolution has brought to Ukrainian history and why it became so important for the people.
