This tour is a perfect way to begin your acquaintance with the ancient city of Kyiv.
We’ll explore the area where the great kings of medieval times lived. You’ll pass through the Kievan Rus’ era, starting from Princess Olga and King Vladimir’s ruling to the era of Yaroslav the Wise, through the Tatar-Mongol invasions, the later periods of the Russian Empire, the USSR, and all the way to the present day.
Walking along the streets, we’ll compare the different architectural styles of all of these epochs and see with our own eyes how much Kyiv has changed. You’ll learn lots about local traditions and everyday life in Kyiv from the time the city was founded.
