Why locals love it

The Neon Museum includes the Neon Boneyard. It was established in 1996 to preserve Las Vegas' beloved neon history. Rather than see the signs destroyed when casinos were demolished they were salvaged and restored.

Why you should visit it

The guided tours are excellent, informative. It's fascinating to walk through the boneyard. Day and night tours are available. Visitors get a new appreciation of the story behind the signs, the casinos and Las Vegas.

Special tip

Reserve in advance, especially if you want to get a spot on their night tour.

Incredibly well curated museum, you will be taking photos every five feet. It's outdoors, so if you are there in the summer be prepared it is HOT even at night. But definitely worth it if you love beautiful vintage signage and history.
