Why locals love it
It's the lake side where you can take a walk by the lake or sit down and enjoy a glass of wine while watching sunset. The view to France is amazing. I often walk by the lake, there is a path which is loved by the locals.
Why you should visit it
When it's warm, you'll meet lots of people, dogs and runners, but during winter and spring less so. I particularly enjoy the evening walks, when darkness sets in and the cities across the lake light up.
Special tip
Take a walk by the lake until Villette, then continue by the street, cross under the train station, turn right and continue through the vineyards.
