Why locals love it

The Old Market is a rectangular square in the center of Leuven, which consists largely of bars and restaurants. To this it owes its nickname 'the longest bar in the world'. It is a true meeting place for young and old where many activities are organized, for example the annual music festival 'Marktrock' in August.
