Why you should visit it

There is a permanent exhibition, which is the Central itself and the equipment that was part of the installation of the production unit. However, due to the large size of the interior, the space is also used for thematic exhibitions. Inside, you have the restaurant “Amo.te Tejo”.

Special tip

The coal was the element responsible to the Central’s operation, arriving by frigate. So the river is just few meters, you might meet some fishermen.
