This imposing theatre is located at Rossio and has several events like: poetry and short stories, reading stories for children, meetings and guided tours (every Mondays). A fire of big proportions in 1964, destroys the interior of the building, but it was rebuilt maintaining the original neoclassical style and opens 14 years later.
The theatre opens doors in 1846, having the Italian Fortunato Lodi as the architect. Learn about the historical and artistic heritage, passing by halls, dressing rooms, technical areas, studio props and costumes, among others.
