Description
Discover a mix of vibrant neighbourhoods and dramatic landmarks on a safe, fun and environmentally friendly bike tour!
You’ll ride across Martim Moniz Square, the starting point of the legendary tram 28 with ethnic shops and cafés on every corner, and continue through Baixa (downtown Lisbon), stretching from the riverfront to the elegant Avenida da Liberdade. Marvel at the cobblestone streets and imposing squares before going to Ribeira das Naus.
Next, you’ll explore Lisbon’s waterfront, where many Portuguese ships were built during the Age of Discoveries.
The following stop will be Belém, located at the mouth of the Tagus River. You’ll learn more about Lisbon’s global adventures and admire sights such as the Belém Tower, which was constructed in the 16th century.
You’ll then cross the Tagus River by ferry and bike to the Cova do Vapor beach, where you’ll meet your enthusiastic SUP teacher. Stand-up paddling is a comprehensive sport that has many variations: races, tours, surf, yoga, pilates and more.
