Description
The main theme of our BraziLX tour is the relationship between Portugal and Brazil, and the historical and cultural connection between these two countries.
The meeting point is Rua Augusta, where you’ll hear the story of a voyage across the ocean that changed the course of Brazil’s history. We’ll reach land in Rossio, where D. Pedro IV, the first emperor of Brazil, will be waiting for us.
We’ll then make our way up to Chiado, where you’ll hear stories of successful Portuguese businessmen who brought fortune from Brazil and influenced Lisbon’s cultural life. You’ll also find out why the Portuguese are so in love with coffee!
We’ll end our tour with a concert listening and dancing to the best rhythms from Brazil or with a Brazilian food tasting.
Note - During the week and on saturdays there is no live music performance. Instead we have the food tasting.
