My favourite cooking course so far! I met Luis and was guided to Patricia and Luis home for the course. They were excellent hosts, warm, charming and easy to get to know. Having tried octopus for the first time earlier on my stay in Lisbon I really wanted to learn how to prepare it,and Patricia granted my wish. We started preparing the octopus, and while it was in the pressure cooker we enjoyed cheese, sausages (chouriço and Farinheira) with moscatel wine. All the food was delicious, and getting a one on one teacher (Patricia) was excellent. If you wonder about taking a cooking class I really recommend Singulairtrips

Local flavor in a new-to-me city

My friend and I signed up for a cooking class with Singulartrips. We had a first time cooking class experience with first time teachers, Cristina and Firio. We had cheese & wine, a traditional Portuguese seafood stew, and a traditional homemade dessert made by Cristina. The couple were wonderful hosts - very friendly, inviting, and eager to share about their country, history, culture & family. They made us feel like part of their family, which made us invite each other to our respective houses should we ever venture there on another holiday. I would definitely book another local culinary adventure with Singulartrips.
