My family and I traveled to Lisbon for only 2 days and so, we wanted to make the most of our trip. I looked around online and we took "3 hours Lisbon by Night" tour on our first night with Paulo. I found AJSA Tours on another website and I only realised he also offering many other interesting tours after we left. Anyway, we had fun on the tour that we took but most importantly, my family had a great time in this tour. It may sounds exaggerating to some, but this is definitely the highlight of our trip in Lisbon. Knowing that we just arrived in Lisbon for the first time, he introduced the history and interesting facts of the city. He was very professional even if there was an incident. My brother had a stomach ache and he tried to help us as much as he can when most of the shops were already closed. Impressively, He kept the quality of the tour in an unexpected event. We had the most delicious pastry in a shop with historical story and we went back the next day (We sat at the same spot and the waiter recognized us and asked whether my brother is fine LOL). He speaks perfect English and make sure everyone could hear him (as I sat at the back of the vehicle). I am impressed by Paulo's service and from my experience with private tours, his price is also reasonable. There are many other great things to see, such as Sintra just nearby Lisbon. It's sad that we do not have time to explore more. We definitely would take his service again if we are coming back to this wonderful city.

Description

Our new Lisbon by Night tour is still relatively unknown among visitors to the Portuguese capital. We call it “Unknown Lisbon”. Join us and see a very different face of the city!

The evening begins with a scenic tour of the Lower Town (Marquis of Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade, Rossio Square, Restauradores Square and downtown Lisbon) before driving to the Estrela Basilica – an 18th-century baroque masterpiece.

After visiting the impressive parliament building, we’ll stop at the passage by the house of the late fado singer Amalia Rodrigues. We’ll then move on to the Belém district to admire various monuments, including the Jerónimos Monastery, the Monument to the Discoveries and Belém Tower.

We’ll then take a small break at the most famous pastry shop in the city. Here, you’ll be treated to “Galao” (coffee with milk) and a "Pasteis de Belém" (Portuguese egg tart). These tarts have been baked on-site since 1837, and were originally produced by the monks of the neighbouring Jerónimos Monastery.

Continuing on to the beautifully illuminated Ajuda Palace, we'll soon reach the highlight of the tour – the 25 de Abril Bridge spanning the Tejo River.
