Market Tour & Traditional Food Workshop

We would like you to live the experience of a true Lisbon' market as a local and take some of the unique concepts of the traditional Portuguese cuisine and the way Portuguese really live it, how they eat and how they cook. The are two rituals truly unmatched by any other culture, except maybe the Italian, where everything we do in life is centered around food.

So first, you will meet up with Rita that will take you to her favorite traditional market (Arroios), where she grew up and knows all the tricks of the very best food stands around. After she will take you to a renewed market, the new generation markets, in the neighboorhood where she lives now (Campo de Ourique). She offers not only the perspective of the markets but some interesting points on the neighborhoods where they are settled.

Then you will meet up with Carol in a local restaurant, where she will give you unique insights on how to cook traditional Portuguese food, it's smells and flavours.

She is a teacher in one of the best Culinary Schools of Portugal, so she knows what she is doing. With wine in the mix, let's now cook and eat!
