This tour included nice drives and views; visits to a mildly interesting castle/church, a very interesting tile maker, and an excellent winery with art; a nice lunch at a beach-side restaurant, and a knowledgeable guide--altogether a very pleasant and relaxed day.
Hermes, the guide and driver, was prompt, flexible, and informative but not chatty, which was fine with me. I would have liked more information on history and current issues, etc., but he answered the questions I asked.
I recommend this tour as an excellent trip out of the city.

Description
In this private tour we will pick you up at your hotel or apartment between 9:00 and 9:30 am. Our trip starts by crossing the biggest European bridge - Vasco da Gama.
After a 45-minute drive we will arrive at Palmela Castle, conquered by the Portuguese in 12th century. You will have the chance to explore the castle before we head to a local cellar in Azeitão where you’ll sample cheese and wine.
The next stop will be Bacalhoa Palace or Adega, where you’ll see an important collection of Portuguese tiles.
Lunch is at your leisure upon your guide's recommendation (own expense), before continuing your sightseeing to a traditional tile factory. You’ll see how tiles are manufactured and hand painted according to traditional methods.
We will return to Lisbon crossing the 25th April Bridge before dropping you back at your accommodation.
