Description

I will pick you up in my car and we will start by getting to know each other on the 30mn drive to Azeitão. I will teach you a few things about Portuguese wine, our way of enjoying it and how food influence us in a very distinct way.

In Azeitão, we’ll begin with a visit to the vineyard and cellar of a traditional winery in Portugal’s celebrated Azeitão wine region, located around 40 kilometres south of Lisbon.

In the winery you get to know a true visionary, a family that has been producing wine for over 2 centuries, you will enter at least 2 warehouses and see the families own private collection of Moscatel that dates back from the 19th century.

Next, we’ll taste a selection of regional wines. You’ll also have the chance to taste Moscatel, a very famous local fortified wine.

Finally, we’ll soak up the alcohol with a traditional pastry at a very typical café.

All of this is accompanied with good talks, excelent company and lots of suggestions for wine drinkers!
