Ljubljana Castle is a castle complex standing on Castle Hill above the downtown of Ljubljana. It is a key element of the Ljubljana skyline. Great photos! If you decide to walk up the hill take the Študentovska street and you will be on the top in only 7 min. Nice views great for couples and families.

Why you should visit it
Discover the Pentagonal Tower - this tower was in the 15th century the main entrance to the Castle Courtyard; the Chapel - the chapel is one of the oldest built parts of the castle. Maybe you can also find a book you like in "Book Vanishing Points" or you can exchange yours with a Slovene one! Look for "small bird/ book houses"...
Special tip
You don't need to spend a penny to visit the castle! Take the main path to the castle hill from Študentovska street.
