Študentovska street is the best and the most famous path leading to Castle hill (no stairs!). It has a strange name "Students Street" although there is no schools around... But in 1789 in near by Vodnik Square there was a school and the man on the statue, Valentin Vodnik, the Slovene priest, poet and journalist, was the headmaster there.

On this street you will not find any shops, bar or restaurants. But you will find the most pristine street, not renovated facades and plenty of wires all around. The houses are from the begining of the 19th century and they were build on old medieval Ljubljana wall!
Great for FB, Snap & Insta photos :)!
