Description
Slovenianbears manages a network of 8 locations and 20 photo hides, that fit 2-4 persons each. The hides have been tailored to the needs of photographers, hence they have been selected carefully regarding location and light availability, they are approximately at eye level with the bears, and they are equipped with bean bags and offer options to fix tripod heads.
Bear observation hides are located in Notranjska region of Slovenia, which together with the adjacent Kočevska region holds one of the world’s richest densities of brown bears. An estimated number of 900 bears can be found here.
You can book the observation tour from May to September. Hide sessions usually start at 2 p.m. and last until sunset. It takes about 15 minutes of driving plus 700 meters of walking to reach the hide. All guests will be briefed with regard to our code of conduct before starting the hide sessions.
