Cosy Swedish bakery in the heart of LDN

Bageriet

Why locals love it

If the baked goods at Bageriet (bageri = Swedish for bakery) are not scrumptious, then I don't know what is! On top of that, the space is small but cosy, with both customers and staff usually on the super friendly side. A tiny little gem in the heart of the city and a great resting stop.

Why you should visit it

You can expect to find the classics, such as Kanelbullar (cinnamon buns) and Mazarin (almond tart), as well as heart-warming hot chocolates, lattes, and teas placed next to cute, Swedish-themed sugar pots for a picture-perfect Swedish fika (coffee break) scene.

Special tip

Prinsesstårta is a must-try, as is the Semla (a cream and almond paste-filled bun) that is available from just after Christmas until Easter.
