Brilliant inexpensive Chinese bakery in the heart of Soho, which also serves tasty taiyaki (fish-shaped cakes filled with custard or red bean paste) and vanilla or green ice-cream in a taiyaki cone. Right round the corner from M&M World for anyone with an uber sweet tooth...
Why you should visit it
The service can be quite abrupt, and the shop is relatively unassuming, but for what it lacks in looks, it makes up for ten-fold in taste. Note, there aren't any tables or seats, so it's take-away only. It also has a sister branch, but that one doesn't serve the ice-cream!
Special tip
You can mix the vanilla and green tea ice-cream for double the flavour!
