I once rang up this place and asked them to make a lemon meringue pie for the following day as a request and they did. It was the best I've sampled in the City. The staff are accommodating, the salads are sensational and the daily hot special is usually an excellent lunchtime treat.

Why you should visit it
In the summer it's a great place to grab some lunch on the go and head to Lincoln Inn Fields to laze in the sun with the locals on their lunch breaks. Expect queues at lunchtime as this place is popular, everyday! Monmouth coffee served here.
