Why locals love it
Hamgipak is a lovely addition to the Fulham area in London. Previously in Greater London's K-town, New Malden, Korean owner and chef Mrs. Bok now delights locals with her fare. Tables are equipped with barbecue plates, but the choice of different foods is varied.
Why you should visit it
There'll be a day when I suddenly decide to eat at Hamgipak, because I realize I'm yet again craving their addictive japchae. The noodles in this stir-fried beef and vegetable dish are translucent, and the sauce unforgettable. There is also a vegetarian option.
Special tip
Galbitang (beef short rib soup) and Ojing-er Bokum (stir-fried squid in spicy sauce) are two other dishes that are highly recommendable.
