Burgers with character
Why locals love it
As the market becomes saturated with low-grade burger juice from ‘trendy’ chains, it’s a relief that the pub-residency phenomena lead by boutique burger companies is rising up to satisfy our meaty cravings. Formerly of the Seabright Arms, Lucky Chip are taking their varied menu to Birthdays in Dalston, where locals eagerly anticipate their arrival.
Why you should visit it
Locals now demand uniqueness in their search for the perfect burger and with offerings like foie gras, truffle aioli and wasabi mayo and ginger fries, Lucky Chip have made that search easy. The sides are varied, the sauces interesting, and a love for cinema culture is clear with burgers names such as the Woody Harrelson and the Royale w. Cheese.
My recommendation is the El Chappo, if I could construct a burger from scratch its basically what I would have. They read my mind!
