I am a big fan of Mexico, its people, culture and food so when word hit the streets about this place starting up in Dalston I was there quicker than you can say viva revolución. Mezcal Catina is not to be missed. Its small, tightly-packed space is juxtaposed by big flavours, lively staff, and colourful sugar skulls adorning the walls.
Why you should visit it
The atmosphere rocks and the food rocks harder: I went for the burrito and birra chelada (oh so good and oh so filling), and watched my friends devour the taquitos dorados and nachos. There was a decent range of food and they're all manly-sized portions. Whether you are a local or visitor to Dalston you need to check out this joint.
