Hello,

I'm thinking of traveling to Cotswolds, but I'm not sure how to get there from the London Airport. I tried to figure it out by myself but I didn't really understand if there is any alternative way to a rental car (I don't have a license). The results that I found displayed that you could take 2 trains or a train and switch to a bus.

The Cotswold are are quite a large area if you don't drive. The only practical solution is to sign up for a tour bus otherwise your two trains and a bus option takes you to a single destination town within the Cotswold area and then leaves you stranded as far as seeing anything of the area as a whole.

Luton Airport
I think the Cotswolds is quite far I’ve only travelled by car there and I think its a couple of hours drive. You could get a cab down but not sure how much it would be all the best...
Yes, you have to be clearer on your destinations. One way is to get the train to Chippenham and go from there BUT without a car, it's a lot of exploring by local buses. A coach tour is your best bet. Most people want to see Castle Combe and area. I once went to Bath and took a local bus from there, which went through some smaller villages but it wasn't very extensive.

I didn't realize that its such a large area. Looks like I have to rethink my accommodations in this case. Thank you so much for the suggestions!
Where in the Cotswolds do you want to go?

I found a place in Warwickshire
In that case perhaps if you head to Stratford upon Avon, that would be a good base to explore that area of the Cotswolds by bus, or to find tours, as suggested by Robin.
Thank you!

Have you tried looking at National Express or Trainline? There are quite a few stations in the Cotswolds also so probably depends where you plan to go.
