what do you classify as healthy, giacomo? london is crammed with restaurants and they all serve different things, different ethnicities. supermarkets have a wide range of things - there are also wholefoods stores and other organic stores, as well as markets in every neighbourhood. yes, be more specific and you'll get lots of help. what are you hoping to buy? what do you prefer to eat?

Thanks for your answer. In particular I am looking for wholefood and organic food and all ingredients needed for a healthy cooking that sometimes even big supermarkets do not have. I have been looking online and it looks like Borough Market might be a good place for this. I live by Wembley Park

There are thousands of good independent grocers all over London. If you can be more specific someone may be able to recommend somewhere locally.

Markets are your best bet, much cheaper than shoopping markets. In east London you have Whitechapel and bethnal green

For fresh organic fruits/vegetables I would definitely recommend Waitrose. For grains and other ingredients try PlanetOrganic or small local organic stores. I know a couple in NW London but not near Wembley Park. Another suggestion, would be to try Indian stores which I am sure you can find near WP.
