Old pub with panelled sections?

(8 answers)
By Paul Traveller October 12, 2019

We visited several years ago and came across an old pub. Inside was smallish but was sectioned off with wooden panelling. Which made it appear smaller as there was tables in individual sections. We were hoping to visit again but can not remember what it was called or even the location. Any help would be much appreciated..

Edit:
Thank you for your answers! I have searched each one and unfortunately, it is not any of them. They do look very welcoming so will pay a few of them a visit! We stayed in the Covent Garden area last time and walked quite a lot but didn’t think it was too far from this area. It also had several glass panel doors in to different sections, so was a lot more confined than any I’ve seen.

Chandos in Trafalgar Square has seats which are sectioned off into individual booths.

Not sure this is the place you are referring to.

Possibly Ye Olde Mitre? I've put the Yelp link as there are tons of photos, but a quick search will give you more articles about it.

This could be many places! A great pub that sounds similar is the Princess Louise in Holborn.
