Brewdog in Soho is great for somewhere central. If you want to go a little further afield then Mother Kelly's in Bethnal Green is great, or Mason and Company which is by the canal near the Olympic Park. Howling Hops is a microbrewery nearby that has a 'tank bar'. Or if you are going to be her at the weekend then the 'Bermondsey Mile' has a great selection of microbreweries that open their doors to the public on Saturdays.

I agree that Hawksmoor is great for steak, or Flat Iron if you're on a budget.

Hawksmoor, Goodmans & Gaucho for good steakhouse around London.
Brewdog for variety of beer. Also Queen of Hoxton in east or Market Place in west is usually good for local pubs.

Gauchos is great steakhouse.
Use Fever app for discount deals..sometimes they have really good specials (like steak & bottomless beer etc) at top restuarants.

Fever has cool ideas for stuff happening that week..
If you like Jazz..Toulouse Lautrec Jazz bar in Kensington is great (and most music is free)! FarRockaway in East London is an awesome place to get good beer & pizza and decor is epic! Have fun!!

Hi Sigurdur,
Most Central London steakhouses are on the pricey side. Try Smith and olensky WC2 . Steak & co do a reasonable steak of around £25.

I love All Bar One in Holborn, mostly a local pub and great vibe.

The best steakhouse in London is Hawksmoor, they have around 5 locations and a lot of different cuts.

For craft beers, you could try pubs like The Drafthouse, BrewDog or The Lyric in Soho. For a microbrewery, there's Temple Brew House. Enjoy!
