My boyfriend and i are visiting London. Where can we go to watch the Champions League final and soak up the london football fever? Looking for a friendly, cosmopolitan ambiance, good food and drinks.

Many thanks,
Football loving Jo'burger

Or for a real Italian ambience go for Bar Italia in Frith St, Soho.

Not a pub but alcohol available and should be a great atmosphere.

I would suggest the following pubs - 1. Maple Leaf in Covent Garden. Covent Garden is so vibrant and full of life. 2. Lane Bar by Brick Lane for a good curry & East End London fun. 3. Dickens Inn in East London. Very touristy but why not? 3. Shipwrights Arms. Grade 2 listed building fairly near London Bridge Station. 4. The Old Kings Head for a real ale experience again fairly near London Bridge. London is a big city so it depends which part you are going to be in. Have fun and enjoy the football

I would assume that most pubs would show that game. Also they should all be quite friendly considering that both teams in the final aren't even in England so the support will be minimal. (Less hooligan behavior).

Oh and the Football fever would best be seen when a premier league team is in the competition.

Also, you can find a pub in most areas so you can ask a passerby for advice.

Cool
Cool!

Any particular areas of the city?
I love the Horatia close to Holloway Road or the Alma N1 in Canonbury.
