Hi Narelle,

Markets, markets, markets!

Portobello market has some great jewelry spots as well as antiques and vintage pieces - you can barter a bit here also. Spitalfields has great vintage and locally made products if that's what you're after (including bags or food products). Be sure to check in advance as the vendors change daily and therefore the products available change (http://www.spitalfields.co.uk/). If East London is your spot, I would search online and make a list of the best shops in that area and hit up each as they are typically within walking distance of each other. Also, there are great vintage shops in this area that could offer some gems. Greenwich or Brixton markets aren't to be over looked if you're in those areas.

I hope that helps!

Hi Narelle, did you have any luck finding what you were looking for while you were in London?
I suggest https://www.webuilt-thiscity.com/ . They are based on Carnaby street. All the souvenirs are created by local artists and designers in the city. Definitely worth a visit:)

Camden Passage in Angel (Islington) has some pretty cool stuff but it's quite small. http://www.camdenpassageislington.co.uk/

There's also Broadway Market

Depends on what exactly you are looking for. Try either Picadilly, Portabello Market or Spitafields. Just choose one of them and "get it over with". London has so much more to offer

What sort of souvenirs are you thinking of? London's markets are fantastic - also add Borough market to your list for food items and Spitalfields for beautiful, handcrafted gifts
