Earlier for a seat is a good idea. The let people on the train about 15mins before leaving.

If it is busy, walk to the far end. There is more likely to be seats there.

Have a good time.

getting there a bit early to get a seat is a good idea. I would aim for 15-30 mins early. You are also more likely to get a seat at the far end of the train.

Hi. They go every 10 minutes and you can pay on the coach. They also accept contactless card payments if you have one. Hope that helps. Cheers

Hi, the bus is quite a long trip into the city and often you'll get stuck on the motorway. I'd get the train it's far quicker and worth the extra money. If your traveling with 3 or 4 people you get 25% discount

I rocked up and got my ticket from the driver. Then I purchased the same day return ticket, and you can get on whichever bus you like! Very flexible and great service

Always best to get there a few minutes earlier just so you can get on the train and get settled but it will
Leave on the time it's supposed to and not earlier

Hey there, as far as I know once you get your ticket for a specific time then you get a seat anyway. I would turn up a bit earlier purely because it usually is a busy route but your ticket will ensure you a seat.

I have used Oxford tube 3 times and always get a seat so you have to be on time to get the bus but I don't think there is a my problem with seats.

Hi Kristen, just want to be clear are you asking about the bus service from Oxford to London or about the underground tube lines at Oxford Circus?

If it is the bus, I would purchase the ticket online and if they have the option to reserve the seat then do it, in my experience it's on a first come first serve basis. If it's the london underground, I would recommend using a contactless credit card or the oyster card, it's the most cost effective way around the city.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Kristin. I would get there earlier just to be safe as if you miss the time you have booked the Tube for the ticket is non-refundable - especially if you book through Megabus.com where tickets are sooo mich cheaper.

Never a problem for seats on the bus!

The Oxford Tube leaves London all through the day so you generally do not have to book ahead. If you are travelling on a Bank Holiday then it might be wise to book ahead, but as I say as a general rule you will be fine.
