Trisha's, 57 Greek St. Opens 5.30pm daily. Will say no more. Go through the blue door and down the stairs.

Hi Eric,

What part of town are you staying in?

Nightjar have a great sister bar called Oriole in Farringdon which is worth a look.

If you like whisky (and interesting spirits), check out The Vault cocktail bar underneath Milroy's whisky shop in Soho, hidden behind the bookcase.

A favourite little haunt of mine is Kansas Smitty's in Hackney, which is a basement jazz bar, underneath a bar called Off Broadway. They serve an assortments of Juleps and it's just a really cool place.

Cahoots! It's a subterranean cocktail bar set in the 1920s. It's an amazing experience but I would recommend booking first.!

It's not exactly a secret, but Callooh Callay in Shoreditch is quite nice. You should probably book in advance if you want to have a table in the "secret" part though https://thenudge.com/london-bars/callooh-callay/
