The Shakespeare Theatre Globe has been built to remind us the theatre as it was in Shakespeare's time. You can't do more British than that. You can either book a £5 ticket and enjoy the play in the standing space right in front of the stage or book a more expensive but seated ticket.

Why you should visit it
You will have the chance to enjoy a great selection of plays, mainly from Shakespeare. If it rains, it's ok, you just spent £5 so it's not a big deal.
Special tip
For seated tickets, you can rent a pillow for £1 as the seats are made of wood, just like in Shakespeare's time!
