Why locals love it
Slim Jim's is one of my favourite bars. And I say this even though I am a girl and they have a collection of bras hanging from the ceiling. Curious? I would be. It’s dark, so much so you need a good five minutes before your eyes take in the small booths hitting the bare brick walls and the aforementioned bras.

Why you should visit it
The selection of music on there is little short of dominating. This equates to you sitting there listening to your own tunes for hours on end while sipping on your whisky of choice. Oh, did I not mention it's a whisky bar? It is. And man alive there are some cracking whiskys to make for a good night.
Special tip
One of my favourite parts is the jukebox sitting pretty in the corner. Yeah, I think it’s the jukebox that really tops this place off.
