The Plough at Swan Wharf5
Why locals love it
The community developing west of the Olympic Stadium continues to expand as the Plough becomes the latest industrial refurb to dot the canal. The raw furnishings and alternate atmosphere come as standard in the area, but where the Plough shines is its oversized outdoor area offering generous seating, sun exposure and views of London’s 2012 triumph.
Why you should visit it
Although a trek, it’s the location that gives the Plough its character. It’s fascinating to see how the locals re-use their discarded buildings and London bucks the trend with their derelict factories and their post-Olympic infrastructure in general. The idea with the Plough; spend the day gazing at a fusion of past & present in one sunny location.
The menu is small, check the website for the latest but definitely plan to eat here. When you’re done check out Crate and Number 90 just minutes away.
