Borough Market is an absolute must-see for any foodie visiting London. It’s filled with everything! You’ll find Italian and Spanish delis, delicious pastries, fresh fish, vegan treats and, of course, Monmouth Coffee – the coffee shop that started the third-wave coffee culture in London.
We’ll begin with Borough Market and then discover the treasures of Bermondsey, an area loved by locals and unexplored by tourists. We’ll walk past the Shard to Bermondsey St where, at the top of the street, we’ll pop into the White Cube Gallery (entry is free, however this stop is subject to the gallery’s opening hours), famous for kick-starting the careers of the Young British Artists.
From Bermondsey we’ll head to the Maltby Street Market, a foodie gem with a lot to offer. Afterwards, we’ll walk through the warehouses of Shad Thames and finish the tour at the Tower Bridge.
