Vauxhall City Farm

Why locals love it

Whether you have kids, or you're just a big kid yourself, the Vauxhall City Farm is a rare spot of rural delight in the heart of London. Since 1976, the farm has been offering education for kids and community services, but it's also just a properly random place to escape the city and have a bit of fun with the animals.

Why you should visit it

Vauxhall City Farm is absolutely free. The animals are very friendly, and you're welcome to pet them, feed them and swoon over the young ones as all animal lovers do. There are also paid horse riding lessons for kids, adults and those wannabe knights of Westeros.

Special tip

In the wetter months it's recommended you wear boots or old trainers, it may get muddy.
