This under-appreciated gem of Clapham is the 'corner shop' of weekend markets, a cozy and compact operation where compared to its larger counterparts a relatively limited choice is actually a good thing. Held every Saturday right beside Clapham Common, the Venn Street market's charm has established it as a necessary pit-stop for the Clapham locals.

Assume everything I list begins with 'Award Winning:' Local pies, Hog Roast rolls, Philly Cheesesteaks, dishes from all over Europe as well as the essential fresh vegetables and seafood to round it all out. Even when the market isn't running the pedestrian friendly street invites it's permanent residents to spill out to create a vibrant atmosphere.
If you're lucky enough to catch the right day, a certain stall will sell the Chorizo, Goats Cheese and Peppers tiger roll. It could change your life.
