Located in hip Sawtelle Japantown (aka Little Osaka), Giant Robot 2 houses work from up and coming local artists. Their exhibitions are often whimsical, with artists who reference pop culture icons or cartoons, and they have items for sale at a range of prices, depending on how much you're interested in spending.
Why you should visit it
The art here is reminiscent of alternative street artists in European cities like Berlin. The gallery's owner and curator, Eric Nakamura, has really interesting taste, and is very kind and friendly. If you happen to be there when he is, definitely take a minute to chat with him.
