While the credibility of the museum is often called into question, the exhibits are strange and thought-provoking regardless of their dubious factual basis. The museum markets itself as an incarnation of an older meaning of the word museum: a dedication to the muses where "a man's mind could attain a mood of aloofness above everyday affairs."
The museum is curated to be interactive and intriguing, with different audio booths, videos, and even a station where patrons can learn to make string art like Cat's Cradle. There is also a beautiful roof top patio where tea and cookies are served, and you can often find musicians playing or short movies being screened.
Keep an open mind. The exhibits are certainly alternative content, but still interesting and worth exploring.
