If after you pay absolutely everything and still have 3000$/mon. it’s enough to enjoy LA?

That depends. Are you planning to move to LA or just visit? If visiting, for how long?

Depends on where you want to live- apartment/room rent is probably 2-5 grand a month. Then utilities, which vary but 300-400 a month? Then, transportation which at the cheapest is a bus/metro pass @ $1.75/ride. But that’s going to eat up a lot of your time and depending on where you’re living not be convenient. Then of course there’s food. Only eating from Trader Joe’s maybe you could get by at like 100-200 per week or two? Of course a Costco membership would be eventually cheaper because it’s in bulk.

hello :) I was asking with all that already included. (Income, taxes, meals / food, bills, fuel, that kind of expenses.) And yes, living in LA.

Thank you so much for your answer

I relocated to LA from the east coast and had about $5,000 saved up. That was good for me to get going for a few months including putting a down payment on a new car and apartment rent. Got a temp job within a month so I was set.

Everyone is different. I would try to keep a little extra around for emergencies- like this bus is SUPER late I'm going to be late for work if I wait... And right now everything is shut down for corona virus. Fine dining is probably 200-500? But since great food can be had for like $20-30 a plate or even $2 for a taco at a taco truck. Beaches might be open right now and they're free. You could walk around hollywood and site see, but all the little souvenir shops are probably closed. You could see Wright's architecture. Right now, movie premieres aren't happening so you couldn't see that- Griffith Park is still open to wander around and hike in... Things aren't the same, I imagine you could eke out a rather enjoyable existence with 2000... But everyone is different and I'm not sure what your idea of experiencing LA entails.
