Events here are free and the community of comedians and improvisers is welcoming and down to earth. The foyer is filled with comfortable couches and people getting to know each other. There's also a shuffleboard game and artwork and books to admire while you're waiting for a show to start!
Why you should visit it
If you're interested in meeting locals and getting to know what the daily life of so many performers in L.A. is like, this is the place to do it. This place is run by its community, so everyone there is passionate about making it a warm, welcoming space.
Special tip
They have dozens of shows, but one of my favorites is The Wrangle. You'll get to see different groups performing their own styles of improv.
