Quite a mini road trip, this one-day ride makes a loop that includes portions of some of the most vital L.A. freeways such as the 101 Freeway (parallels the Pacific Coast Highway), the 405 (connects the San Fernando Valley to Irvine in Orange County) and the 118 (connects the San Fernando Valley to Ventura County).
It also includes portions of country roads that connect the historical agricultural region of the Santa Clara River Valley to the coast. This region is known to be one of the cradles of the California citrus industry.
This is a long and exciting ride that includes stops and possible visits to two of the most prestigious Spanish missions in California: the Ventura and Santa Barbara Missions. It also includes stops in the typical Western cities of Fillmore, Santa Paula and Ojai.
The excitement stays high on the way back as we follow the coastline from the hills of Montecito all the way to Las Casitas Lake.
Renting a motorcycle for the day is fairly easy. There are several local rental shops offering online booking. My job as your local guide is to make sure your experience is easy, safe and one of a kind!
