The Venice Canals are somewhat of a legend among locals--people know they are there, but few have actually seen them. Tucked away in a residential area not far from the beach, the Venice Canals offer a great place for a stroll and some good photo opportunities.

Why you should visit it
The canals have a beautiful walking path (no bikers, please) right on the water. The walk is picturesque, with large bridges between canals reminiscent of Venice's namesake in Italy. The canals are a great way to take advantage of a sunny day by the water, especially if you feel like steering clear of sand.
Special tip
It's a residential area, so you may have trouble finding parking. Also, be mindful of noise.
