This tour aims for those interested in art, knowing the Prado Museum collection through a dynamic exploration of the art works which are exhibited here, from the Medieval ages to modern days. A journey into the history of art.
We will see the masterpieces, and some others that may not be as known to the general public, there will be plenty of Spanish artists, so we can also understand the art development in our country.
Also will be relevant, the figure of the Spanish Kings and Queens in making this collection possible as it was originally called The Royal Collection of Paintings. From the importance of Carlos V and his relationship with famous Titian, to of course the obsession of Felipe II with art and architecture in general.
