I took up running very late but immediately got hooked and it wasn’t long until I did my first 10k race and have since continued with half and full marathons. My love for traveling and exploring new cultures took me to Madrid and I feel in love with this beautiful city from day one. I left my busy job as a senior exec within the online industry and sold my house in London and permanently moved to Madrid. I love travelling, food, wine, craft beers, fly fishing, family life and exercising. Have got lost while out running in Istanbul, New York and Shanghai.

Description
During the run we will cover a lot of various topics such as history, art, restaurants, bars etc. Because we’re a small group (maximum 8 people) then it’s easy to ask questions and the guide will do their best to help where possible with recommendations and tips to ensure you’re having a great time while visiting Madrid.
During the run we will do a full stop at some of the attraction so you have time to take some photos and the guide will share some information. Some other attractions which we pass on the way will be covered while we run between the stops. The guide will also point out some attractions that are further afield, so you know where they are if you want to visit them on your own later. We won’t enter any of the museums, churches etc. during the run but they’re all worth their own visit.
Madrid is a busy city, and this will be reflected in the speed we run at and we will keep the same speed as the slowest runner in the group. If someone in the group feels they want to run a bit faster or longer than there is chance to do that at a couple of places during the tour.
