Description

The Street Art Tour curated by Cooltourspain will reveal which are the most popular graffiti & street art spots in Madrid city center.

A 2 hours guided visit where a local artist will explain the history of this underground movement in the capital of Spain.

This city tour in Madrid will visit the artwork that local, national and international artists developed at the most important street art festivals in town: CALLE Lavapiés, Muros Tabacalera and Urvanity festival.

A private tour completely explained in English, but also available in Spanish or French, due to the influence of artists such as Banksy, Blak Le Rat or Okudart.

Lavapiés neighbor is also featured in this tour of the city. Considered by many as the most multicultural area of Madrid you may find any kind of nationality in the populated street, both during the day and at night.

La Tabacalera's walls are also explained. Full information from the national and international artists who participate yearly in this massive project.

Our last point covered in this street art tour is El Campo de Cebada, located at La Latina square. A former community sports center which was abandoned and now used by the community.

Javier Gave a Wonderful Tour of Madrid's Street Art
Javier gave my daughter and me a fabulous, engaging, pleasant and friendly tour of street art in Madrid. He was informative and provided us with many insights into a side of life in Madrid that one would not see in El Prado or in other upscale museums and galleries. Also, walking for a few hours with a knowledgeable guide is a great to way to feel the heart of a city. Lawrence and Caroline, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Very interesting experience in Madrid
I have already been to do such kind of tours in other cities and I have to say that the Madrid graffiti tour is one of the best I have done. You ll see not only graffitis but also a former railway warehouse used for art exibitions: only this one makes the tour worth to be booked. Then Javier (your guide) is very good in explanations about what you see together with curiosities about Madrid; he is also a smiling and bright guy that makes you feel like walking out with a friend!
