A most excellent person and guide

Paloma and I coordinated my visit several weeks before I arrived, so she was ready to go when I arrived. Paloma is both charming, gracious, and full of knowledge about Madrid. On more than one occasion she assisted w/ making reservations, and other logistics after my tour was over.

We found her restaurant and nightlife recommendations to be very useful in understanding and navigating Madrid. In short, without her involvement, this trip would have been less complete or enjoyable. Paloma is the best!

Very interesting experience in Madrid

I have already been to do such kind of tours in other cities and I have to say that the Madrid graffiti tour is one of the best I have done. You ll see not only graffitis but also a former railway warehouse used for art exibitions: only this one makes the tour worth to be booked. Then Javier (your guide) is very good in explanations about what you see together with curiosities about Madrid; he is also a smiling and bright guy that makes you feel like walking out with a friend!

Perfect if you have 1 day to see Madrid

My sister and I only had one day in Madrid and wanted to see as much as we could. I found great reviews about Paloma online and she was available! She contacted me before we arrived to customize our day and gave us tips for the other cities we were going to visit. She even checked in on us later in the week. We got a real feel for the cited and history of Madrid and had plenty of time after the tour to shop, eat and see a few additional places. A+

One Day with a Local Guide in Madrid

Super fun and informative

I did this tour with my parent while we were visiting Spain. I cannot recommend it enough. It was hands down my favorite thing we did in Madrid. We learned about the street art culture in Madrid and the history of the lavapies neighborhood. It really made me feel more connected to the city and understand what is happening there currently. Our tour guide was engaging, fun, and super knowledgeable. Overall great experience!! Thanks!!

I had an only one person tour with Paloma. She is very passionate about her job, so smiling and polite that makes you feel at your ease in the same way you re about to do a walk with a good friend. Then she explains you a lot of interesting curiosities about Madrid that you don t find in a guide: last but not least she suggest you places to enjoy Madrid such as restaurants and bars where spanish people use to go. Highly recommended!

Like spending a day with your friend who lives in Madrid!

Paloma is a loveley, bubbly woman who’s love for her city shines thru. This was a casual walking tour with plenty of information... if you’re looking for a stuffy structured tour this one might not be for you. IF you are looking for an experience more like coming to Madrid to spend a day with your friend who lives there.... Paloma is that friend. We had great conversation, saw so many things and laughed a lot. Thank you Paloma!

Great

Guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city and all that it has to offer. My time with her was a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend you do this excursion. In fact she went over her time to help me with something non related to the tour and did it as a nice person. A beautiful woman with a beautiful soul and I look forward to calling her a friend moving forward.

A Must-Do in Madrid

Paloma was a wonderful tour guide. The 6 hours flew by and were amazed by just how much we had seen. She was so helpful leading up to the tour giving tips. She even offered to book us at a flamenco show which we accepted and thoroughly enjoyed. It felt like we were touring with a friend. A must-do if you are planning to come to Madrid.

Very lucky to come across Paloma

Really pleased Paloma could show me around Madrid. She made me feel at home as I was travelling alone and was flexible with my tour requests. She helped me find some gems and although she didn't have to she sent me tips and advice on what to do when I was on my way. Great woman, very intelligent, very funny and a treat to meet.

We loved this!

I booked this for myself, my husband and our 16-year old son and our Dutch friends, who also have a 16-year old son, and it was outstanding! Truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our Dutch friends loved the biking, as did we -- and we got to see streets and places that we might not have seen or visited. Javier is the "designer" of the route and he is a fantastic guy -- fun, knowledgeable, passionate about Madrid and a great guide. I would highly recommend this especially if you have teens who might want to be active and not visit one more museum and/or if people in your group have experience biking, good balance and would feel comfortable riding around a bustling city (although mostly side streets -- only a few times crossing really busy streets -- originally I thought this might even be fun for my parents but then realized absolutely not for my dad but my mom could do it because although she is older, she is an avid biker).

Street Art is the People's Art

Highly recommend! Since street art is out in the city, you also see the and get to know a little the supercool neighborhood of a Lavapies. The guides, we were lucky we had two because one was in training for this two hour-ish tour--share their love and knowledge of street art and Madrid in a fact filled but very interactive and conversational tour. The tour begins in a gallery/studio where some artists have taken their art of the street and ending at the walls of the Tabacaria where every two years well known street artists are invited to paint murals related to a specific theme. The murals on the walls now are related to the urban jungle and are as different as the artists who painted them. If you enjoy exploring parts of a city beyond the standard museums and are up for a two hour stroll, I highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous and Engaging

This tour was a highlight of our time in Madrid. Patricia was articulate, knowledgeable, engaging and wise in her way of presenting the art itself (with her background in Art History with an emphasis on Guerilla and Graffiti art, Wow!) and the social/political backdrop of it and this on the heels of the recent National Election.

We (my husband and I) were there with our 15 year old son. So glad to have had this experience to contextualize our time in Spain as a whole.

I especially recommend this tour to those who might imagine they would not wish to be part of such reflection and discourse or who perhaps have been agitated and irritated by graffiti in general. Graffiti has so much to say about the broader conversations of a society which are often (ironically) unseen and/or silenced.

Great experience!

I cant give Paloma 10 stars, but if I could I would. This tour was a great tour. If you are short on time in the city of Madrid I highly recommend this tour. You will visit all the main sites and even some hidden treasures that only with Paloma I would have known about them. This tour also gives you a good insight for places you will want to visit at another time with more time. Paloma is very engaging and knowledgeable about her city, not to mention also very friendly and smart. Paloma was very helpful and is willing to give recommendations about places to check out after and restaurants. Whatever you need she the right person to ask and if she doesnt know, she will find the answer. Thank you very much Paloma for making our experience in Madrid the best!!

Beautiful, Fun and Insightful

While on the website I came across this tour and thought it was very different and interesting. My girlfriend and I were excited to do this tour on the last day of being in Madrid. We were 5 minutes late but luckily Javier (our guide) was still waiting for us. We had a great time on this tour. Not only seeing the beautiful street art but Javier taught us so much about the culture and the history behind the movement. I learned so much about Madrid and graffiti. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is in Madrid. I would also love to take the tour again and see some other art as well. Javier was awesome and friendly and helped us feel very comfortable. Thanks for the good time Javier!!!!

Probably the best way to be introduced to Madrid!

I moved to Madrid recently and I did not have the chance to explore the city. So I signed up for the 6k run, hoping to see the highlights.
Despite the rain we did the tour and it was a great experience. We saw the major attractions in Madrid while exercising. It was Sunday morning so it was relatively quiet- which was good.

Ulrik was an excellent guide, enthusiastic and professional! Not only he shared historical facts but he also gave tips of places to go to eat and drink which was highly appreciated.

I highly recommend this run for both tourists and new-comers to Madrid. It is an alternative way to see the city; you exercise, you meet people and you learn a lot!
