This place offers freshly cooked Tibetan food as a full meal or as a 'rice and 3' - a selection of 3 dishes. It's absolutely a top local tip (the Beef momos are beautiful too), you can eat in if you get there early or take away. It's very affordable - £6.50 for rice and 3 and they offer free home brewed chai tea.
This is a place that even many locals still haven't caught on to but that said it is still very busy, so arrive early if you want to eat in.
On Friday's there's a fish dish which sells out quickly, try it if you can
