We love this district because is the most typical and oldest area in Marseille, founded on the greek ancient city Massalia. There is a distinct atmosphere in this area, in the center of the town, hidden by the Municipality buildings, between the old port (Vieux-Port) and the new one (Joliette- Port Autonome).
