Why locals love it

The Banana Beach Club is pretty much the opposite of the many bars in Grand Baie: not pretentious, overrated and tourist friendly. Instead, it's a cozy and accessible bar, with a slightly kitsch decoration, which serves bear and simple cocktails for the happiness of tourists and locals alike.

Why you should visit it

The food and drinks aren't spectacular, as for any pub, but are decently priced for the area. Their live band shows and dancing events on weekends make it the best place to meet people in Grand Baie, may it be to hook up or just mingle with locals.

Special tip

If you want a table, come early, before 8:30pm, especially on weekends.

The music is popping with some of the best billboards songs and remixes. There is also a restaurant and nice vibes , only nice vibes

Maybe the only pub in Grand Baie where you actually come as you are (flip flops and shorts allowed).
